Our Vision

VISION -January 28, 2007

This has been declared the Year of the Open Door…. God’s door to heaven will be opened and we shall receive whatever we need from heaven and the doors will be opened for ministry in many areas.

We believe that God wants this church to be a FAMILY ORIENTED CHURCH.
First of all we are believing that God wants this church filled again, filled to overflowing. With at least 120 in regular attendance. People saved and filled with the Holy Spirit and being discipled.
We are believing for a functioning Men’s and Women’s Ministry that will have regular gatherings here at the church and elsewhere, bible studies and fun interest groups, and that they will have the ministry of helps flowing thru them to this body and as a witness to the community and will minister to people of all ages. Families hosting fellowship groups. Our marriage ministry up and functioning and being fruitful.
We are believing for young people to come in with those families and for our youth ministry to be up and running and strong pulling our young people out of the clutches of the enemy. Amen?.
We are believing that our children’s ministry will continue and grow and change the hearts and lives of our children
We are believing for a functioning nursery that will not just babysit but minister the love of Jesus to the children, for the audio visual to be linked into the nursery.
In all of our family areas of ministry we are believing for strong, faithful, committed, laborers to come along side of us and help in areas that God lays on their hearts.
We have initiated a prayer focus for each month starting in January it was UNITY. February will be LOVE. And we recommend that you read Luke 6: 27-36 daily for the month of February along with your regular bible reading and continue to pray for Unity and Love when you pray for the church.
We are debt free as a church and have money in the savings for the building fund. God never meant for pastors to be fund raisers so we will not be fund raisers we will place the vision before you and let God speak to your hearts and believe that God will speak to other’s hearts that aren’t even sitting in this church to provide for the vision that God has spoken to us.
We believe that God has spoken to us about using our property more fully with preparing the grounds for:

Softball- with other churches
For installing a DISC golf course that will be free for all to come and enjoy.
Finishing the things in the church that are undone and upgrading and repairing anything that needs it.

We are to be good stewards of what we have before we can get more and we know that this is a step towards the building that God wants us to build. God doesn’t always tell you to leap, but he does give you the next step and bringing this building and grounds into excellent condition will be pleasing to the Lord.

When God placed Adam and Eve in the garden, He gave them vision and he expected them to accomplish those things that he wanted done on this earth. We have a great relationship with our heavenly Father, He not only created us, gave us the breath of life, gave us vision, but He also wants to give us the provision, that we lack in no good thing. Amen?

We are believing that God spoke these things to us and that God will lay it on the hearts of His people to see it come to pass. All of us have a part in the family of God.

Father, I believe that this is what You have spoken to us and that You want to have done concerning Your family at Black River . Father, You know I’m not able to do it all, but I am willing to do my part, as You lead me, so that Your work will be accomplished here on earth. Speak to me what You would have me to do. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
